BWF Awarded a 10K Grant by Petco Foundation for 2019 Disaster Relief Grant Cycle

Bunny World Foundation is deeply honored to be a recipient of the funds designated to assist 150 bunnies rescued from the TICK, GETTY, and BRUSH fires in Los Angeles City/County during the Winter of 2019.  The project made possible by the Petco Foundation enabled us to continue our mission through February of 2020 and tackle many medical challenges related to the rabbits we rescued.  Thanks to our Adoption & Charitable Partner Petco Foundation, together, we continue to make a real difference for animals.

About the Petco Foundation: At the Petco Foundation, we believe that every animal deserves to live its best life. Since 1999, we’ve invested more than $250 million in lifesaving animal welfare work to make that happen. With our more than 4,000 animal welfare partners, we inspire and empower communities to make a difference by investing in adoption and medical care programs, spay and neuter services, pet cancer research, service and therapy animals, and numerous other lifesaving initiatives. Through our Think Adoption First program, we partner with Petco stores and animal welfare organizations across the country to increase pet adoptions. So far, we’ve helped more than six million pets find their new loving families, and we’re just getting started. Visit petcofoundation.org to learn more about how you can get involved.

COUNTDOWN TO DEADLINE!

COUNTDOWN TO DEADLINE! β›„ Night has fallen on Dec. 24, πŸ™but please hear our voice calling in the distance because we need your help so much! Will you send a little love for the bunnies? Our huge medical debt must be paid by Jan. 1 to remain in good standing with our Vet. They will take call-in donations - (info/pics/recent BWF Vet invoice in comments), but PayPal service is available at www.bunnyworldfoundation.org/donate, (or use the donate button in this post)😊

BWF has been rescuing desperate little bunny persons non-stop since 2008, and before the year is done, our Vet bill will rise even further as more bunnies head to our Vet in coming days. But our goal is 18K by NEW YEAR'S DAYπŸ’• Might seem like we're hoping for a miracle, but what better time to do so?

Have you begun fostering bunnies yet?! Now is the time you can do the most good... please email info@bunnyworldfoundation.org with your interest in fostering bunnies so there will be spots open for us to grab more bunnies from their anguish... we are thinking about them tonight, and need fosters to keep our rescuing efforts possible... poor bunnies are waiting.

Please help us in this race against time to reach our goal... thanks to your support all year, nearly 800 bunnies were rescued; each little bun more deserving than the next. BWF is a hectic rescue and we never have time to share much about the bunnies, but the stacks of medical bills with their names on them speak volumes of our dedication to them and their welfare. As we've said before - eyes opened to their worthiness see more beauty than human unkind will ever see.

Thank you for any little bit you can spare... please share wherever it is permitted, and thank you for loving bunnies all the way!

Warmly,

~BWF

Please help baby Piper binky for the first time in his life!

Please help baby Piper binky for the first time in his life. As the infant runt of his family, Piper's tiny frame was somehow disabled; perhaps unwittingly crushed by his mother. Until now, Piper has been too young to withstand anesthesia -- and with a fractured spine, splayed back leg, and dislocated hip -- his life has been a sad one... only able to run & hop in dreams...πŸ™please help us change all that now by visiting: www.bunnyworldfoundation.org/donate for PayPal service. To sponsor with aid of $100 or more - please call Northwood Animal Hospital at 949-559-1992. With surgery (see invoice in comments) and multiple follow-ups, Piper will require $3,000 coverage -- so that is our goal.
This little baby had a rough start in life, with nothing to binky about, and no strength to do so even if he wanted to. All it takes is enough people chipping in, and for the first time in his life, he will FLY... as an able-bodied, happy bunny β˜ΊοΈ

πŸ’•Piper is now hospitalized, and needs a loving foster home after his release. Email us at info@bunnyworldfoundation.org to host this miracle baby's recovery.

Thank you for helping us give Piper his LIFE, and for believing in the miracle of someone like Piper, whose WILL TO LIVE is stronger than his woes. The utter nobility of these beings who never feel sorry for themselves... never give up... it's astounding. We're here now to fight for the well-deserved happiness that Piper's been dreaming of.
