$27K May Fundraiser for Medical Bills

The Post-Easter Massacre is in full swing, and the bunnies in LA are "falling from the sky!" Our VET BILL skyrocketed to $27,500.00. We're in trouble!

Between four vet hospitals, we had 50 bunnies seen this month of May. Several fractures, multiple molars, abscesses, wounds all over the body, eye infections, malnutrition-ed orphans, head-tilts, and more! We hit the ceiling when it comes to our vet bill and need ALL the help we can get! If you open the album, you can see some of our little patients and vet bills reflecting our plea. This month we pulled bunnies from the deadly SEEACA, Pasadena Humane Society, Mission Viejo Animal Shelter, LAAS. (East Valley, West Valley, South LA, Harbor, North Central, and West LA).

• We're STILL ALL-VOLUNTEER, FOSTER-BASED rescue;

• We're STILL taking in 50 – 70 bunnies a month;

• We're STILL taking a ton of strays, owner surrenders, and Craig Lists discards;

• We're STILL holding adoption events weekly and finding homes for 50+ bunnies a month;

• We're STILL booking at 10+ surgeries a week;

• We're STILL scooping every medically alerted rabbit from LAAS, including nursing mothers, babies, orphans, seniors, broken legs, broken backs, abscesses caused by molars, and more;

• Our vet bills fluctuate from $8K to $15K a month.

• Our Bunny Chateau (hotel) has been open and fully functioning throughout the Covid period.

• Updates related to all our activities are posted in our private group DAILY.

• 1% of what we do is posted on Social Media. There's simply no time!
