📌🍬CARAMEL from S. LA Shelter is ONE of the 100+ buns we've rescued during the last few months. Sorry, they haven't seen the light of social media yet, but we've been BUSY "spring cleaning" & "rescue soul searching." Their stories are coming. Trust us, we haven't stopped… not for a single day! The adoption events in Altadena, Torrance, Los Feliz, & Hancock Park have been nothing but success, with 8+ adoptions almost every Sunday. Those who attend our events know…those who volunteer dozens of lifesaving transport a week know…and the fact that our vet bill hit $30K indicates that we still take 50+ rabbits to our vet MONTHLY!
💗 NOW, BACK TO CARAMEL, who was BLUE ALERTED earlier this week and is looking for a foster & a sponsor. He got injured by his cage mate because LAAS ROUTINELY puts UN-NEUTERED MALES TOGETHER in the kennels, where they castrate each other, bite their noses, & cause thousands of dollars in abscess treatments. ☹
🖐 "GENTLE" REMINDER: We don't have a facility or paid staff, so there's nothing casual/temporary about fostering for BWF. We are ALL volunteers; fosters are our staff. We don't have a plan for if/after you default as a foster. You are Caramel's plan. So, if you're serious, please email us at info@bunnyworldfoundation.org.
📌 If you can't commit, please don't waste our time. We're tired of those who flake, lie, & breach our agreements. What PART OF "FOSTER-BASED," "ALL-VOLUNTEER," & "NO-FACILITY" do they not understand? We are constantly amazed. So, if you're one of them, we are the wrong rescue; CARAMEL is the wrong bunny for you to save… We ONLY want/need/embrace volunteers/fosters who RESPECT WRITTEN AGREEMENTS and have INTEGRITY & UNDERSTANDING of how FOSTER-BASED rescues work. This means that there's NO backup when we rescue buns from death row from public shelters (SEAACA, LAAS). YOU, the FOSTER, are the plan, the backup, & EVERYTHING! 💗 So, again, if you'd like to help this sweet boy, please email us!
